How to Make a Paper Jewel
Print it, score it, fold it and glue it: a paper jewel in about ten minutes. Treasure for escape rooms, treasure hunts and pirate parties.
What you need
- Cardstock, any color
- Scissors
- A ruler and a dry pen, to score the folds
- A glue stick or a glue gun
How to make it
- Print the template at 100% on cardstock. Two jewels fit on one sheet.
- Cut on the solid line.
- Score every dashed line: run a dry pen along a ruler. That is what makes the folds come out crisp.
- Fold each dashed line toward the printed side, so the lines end up inside.
- Glue the tabs inside. The two triangles at the ends of the big fan overlap: glue one over the other.
